The Oltrepò Pavese area produces characteristically lively wines, with foam obtained through re-fermentation in autoclave.
Among the red wines the best-know are Bonarda and Sangue di Giuda.
The Oltrepò Pavese area is the third most important winemaking area in Italy after Piedmont and Tuscany. It is well-known for producing quality sparkling red wines, such as our Bonarda, and also sweet red wines such as Sangue di Giuda (the blood of Judas), which are famous all over the world. Our winery also produces international Red wines, noted for their elegance and complexity, such as Pinot Noir, Barbaleone and Bonarda Vigna Guardia.
